Money-Are You Your Worst Enemy?
February 21st, 2007Divas, when it comes to money, are you your worst enemy? If you are having difficulties with your money, it is important that you now take the time to make a concerted effort to unearth your core beliefs about money. Do you have a love/hate relationship with money? If so, at what point in your life was it created?
Most fears about money start during early childhood. We either adopted positive or negative attitudes and habits about money from our family. Was money hard to come by? Did your family barely make ends meet? Or did you have lots of money and spent it when you made it? Even worst, did you grow up without a care about money because it was one topic that you never discussed with your family? One thing is very clear, if you started life with poor money habits, you will only carry over those same habits into your adult life.
If today you find that your conversations about money are negative, you have developed a negative consciousness about money. How often are you saying things like, “He is filthy rich”, “Money is the root of all evil”, “I have to rob Peter to pay Paul and “Money won’t buy you happiness”?
The list goes on and on. Where you are right now, you put yourself there. If you have a negative attitude, you will draw to you negative experiences. Most negative people are angry, jealous, and envious individuals. They have an inability to forgive.
If they have a negative experience, it is always the other person’s fault. A person with a negative attitude plays the victim/blame game. And a person with a severe case of the “Negs” is a Drama King or Queen. They always have a tragic story to tell. Be honest with yourself, does any of this sound like you?
If these sounds like you, here are some techniques you can use to get rid of the “Negs”. Decide to be a positive person and develop a positive attitude. Forgive yourself and everyone in your life that has caused you pain. Choose to release anger, jealousy and envy from your life. Realize that you are the controller of your destiny and no one can make you feel or act negatively without your consent. Make the decision not to create drama in you life any more. And when drama show up looking like “Crazy”, immediately turn in the opposite direction and run. Get out!
Struggle is optional and you can choose to look at the bright side of everything going on in your life.
Go from positivity to prosperity,
