If your mission is to get to prosperity heaven in 2007, then you can not become prosperous if you do not know your credit history. Leveraging your credit is the only true way to financial freedom. Without credit, it is very difficult to accomplish your wealth dreams. 

 

I was shock to read in a Washington Post article that stated that, 97% of people do not know their credit score and 86% did not check their credit score last year.  Okay, Divas, let’s take our heads out of the sand and bite the bullet to find out what your credit score is. You can get a free credit report! One of my favorite words. You can go to www.annualcreditreport.com to get your free copy, today. I remember having to pay $8 to each of the three credit bureaus for my credit report.  Now, because of identity fraud, you are legally allowed one free credit report from each of the three main credit bureaus.

 

Unfortunately, your scores are not free. You will have to pay a fee for your FICO score from the three credit bureaus: Equifax, Experian and Trans Union. I think it will cost approximately, $45.00, but it is worth it.

You need to find out if you have good credit history, bad credit history or no history at all to know what strategies you can incorporate to help you reach your financial dreams.  I have found that people are afraid to know their credit score. Ironically, people who think their credit scores are poor, the score is good. In turn, people who think their score is good, their credit score is poor.

You are limited in accomplishing your financial dreams, if you do not come to terms with your credit history.

Do not put your wealth dreams on hold any longer, go to www.annualcreditreport.com for your free credit report and find out what your score is now. It may not be as bad as you think.

I am writing an e-book, Good Debt Riches, to share with you all of the credit secrets I used to buy businesses, real estate and invest in stock market. Also, would you believe my bank called me yesterday requesting that I borrow money from them! What a dream come true. Ten, short years ago, the bank would not give me the time of day because I had very bad credit.

Like most of you, I started out with no credit. I went to colleged and opened up my first credit card account and got a student loan. I created bad debt and got into trouble with the credit card companies. I couldn’t pay my bills. My bankruptcy attorney friend got me a deal to payoff my credit cards. Even so, I was rejected by every bank I tried to establish new credit with thereafter.

Speed forward, I repaired my credit and established a new credit history. I created good debt up to over $120,000 on my credit cards! You might be saying, Yikes! But, there is a happy ending. I got rid of the credit card debt in 2.5 years and I am debt free now. I have only two business cards, and one personal card I payoff monthly. But I have tons of mortgage debt that has mushroomed to a high networth and passive income.

You might be wondering how. Well, that is why I am writing Good Debt Riches to teach you how you can become rich creating a lot of debt. Here is one top secret tip:it is easier to borrow a million than to earn a million. Donald trump is doing it. Why not you, too?

Dear Divas:

One of the strategies that I used to create wealth was borrow money from my credit cards-good debt riches. I financed a business, bought stock, and real estate with my credit cards.  It was the easiest and only way that I could make my wealth dreams come true.

Most financial gurus would never tell you to use your credit cards to invest because the average investor/person is not responsible with their credit cards.  Moreover, financial advisors think investing in any investment is very risky business, and do not want to be held responsible if you max out your credit card on an investment that fails. This is understandable.

 Even with that said, I still think and know that using your credit cards to invest maybe the only lending source that will get you out of the rat race, if you can not borrow money from any other source. It worked for me. For example, I used about $80,000 from credit card cash advances to pay closing cost for R.E. that gave me over 100% ROI. My credit card charges were in the 10% range per month, but my tenants paid the note each month for me. I refinance a couple of rentals, years later, and paid of the credit cards.  I am debt-free and over 1 million + networth. This is a great example of good debt. Good debt is when the debt will increase your leverage and earn you passive income from your investment.

 Good debt investing, is not for everyone.  If you are not responsible with your credit cards you may not want to do use it for investing. You must be very responsible, discipline and have good plan of action to make this style of investing successful.
